Nitrogen can be used in the following processes and production stages:
- storing components
- producing soldered connections
- storing finished plates
- cleaning furnaces for LCD production
- laser, selective and wave soldering
- dry chambers, dusting
- filling up sealed optical systems
Typically, nitrogen with a residual oxygen content of 10ppm-1% is used for this type of applications.
